This listing is for a Tag Heuer 980.006 in the famous jumbo “Monnin” style case. The matte black dial is very nice and super clean!
This particular example has had a full exterior restoration and ceramic coating (cerakote applied by a Cerakote certified professional). Heuer nor TAG Heuer produced this color variant in the jumbo size case. They made the all black version in the smaller cases (38mm and below) but we thought that was a shame so we refinished it just like we do the 980.026 and 980.031 models we restore for clients.

This watch has been professionally serviced as described below.
Case size: ~42 without crown (~44 with crown and crown guards).
•The movement is the original Tag Heuer signed ESA Quartz (dated 1989) and it is running as intended. It appears clean and corrosion free though service history is unknown.
•The crystal has been substantially upgraded to a sapphire crystal which is nearly unscratchable! It is in excellent shape
•The bezel insert is new and in excellent shape as you would expect.
•This watch comes with the our custom upgraded solid bracelet links which were installed on the original TAG Heuer clasp assembly. The bracelet which will fit up to an 8.25” wrist. Additional links are available for an additional charge if needed. Please contact us prior to purchase to discuss or if sizing is needed.
•All seals (case back, crown, and crystal gasket) were replaced. This watch features a screw down crown. Pressure tested to 200m at the time of service.
