Listing is for a vintage Tag Heuer 980.029 that has been modified with a black bezel (patina matching the case)  featuring its original bezel insert and a full lume dial from a 980.031 James Bond model. 
This watch case has been professionally serviced. Fully functional and ready to wear.
Case size: ~38mm without crown (~40mm with crown and crown guards).
•The case is in used condition with signs of use present. Please examine the pictures as there is wear to the PVD coating but it presents well and this has been factored into the price. 
•New battery which should be good for two years or more.
•The movement is a new ETA Quartz just like the 980.029n models originally came with from Tag Heuer. It comes with a 1yr mechanical warranty against defects. 
•The crystal has been upgraded to a much more durable sapphire crystal. 
•The bezel insert is original to the bezel and is in nice condition for its age.
•This watch comes with a vintage Tropic STYLE strap. These types of straps are very popular for completing the vintage diver look. This type of strap was very common in the 70s and 80s and could be ordered for multiple higher end watch brands such as Rolex. 
•All seals (case back and crown gasket) were replaced during the movement service. This watch was pressure tested to 30m prior to listing. The crown is a new screw down crown.
