Listing is for a very nice vintage TAG Heuer 980.032 with full lume dial that has been refinished to a high level at some point. The watch case appears to be in unpolished condition.
This watch has been professionally serviced. Reliable, fully functional, and ready to wear.
Case size: ~42mm without crown (~44mm with crown and crown guards).
•New battery which should be good for two years or more.
•The movement is a new ETA just like TAG Heuer used on the later 1000 series models which is a substantial upgrade over the earlier ESA movements which were pretty unreliable. This movement comes with a 1 year mechanical warranty against manufacturer defects.
•The crystal is new and flawless. It has been substantially upgraded to a sapphire crystal which is nearly unscratchable!
•The bezel insert is original and in excellent condition for its age.
•This watch comes with a solid link jubilee bracelet with a genuine TAG Heuer clasp. This bracelet fits up to a 8.2” wrist. Additional links are available for $12 each.
•All seals (case back, crown, and crystal gasket) were replaced. This watch features a new screw down crown and tube which is a significant upgrade as the L versions came with push-in crowns which leaked very frequently and don’t have replaceable gaskets. This watch was pressure tested to 50m for 24hrs after the service.
•2-3 day USPS Priority Mail with full insurance is specified.
